2013 Installation Banquet On September 26th, we held our annual Installation Banquet at the Paddock Room, Hickory Grove. 79 members and their wives attended the banquet, and we were joined by our Division 13 Lt. Governor, Dick Cox, who performed the installation ceremonies. Entertainment was provided by a barber-shop singing group from DeKalb, IL who really rocked the crowd. Secretary Jim Busse presented newly-installed President Larry Wing with a new gavel with which to hold meetings. The gavel was a gift to the club from Past Secretary Carl Polstra, it being the gavel presented to him for his time ad Division 13 Lt. Governor.

2011-2012 Distinguished Club Award At the August I-I District convention held at Naperville,IL our President Chuck McGrath was on hand to receive the 2011-2012 Distinguished Club award from Kiwanis International and the Illinois-Eastern Iowa District. Rochelle Kiwanis Golden K completed all the requirement for this sought-after award, and are proud of our accomplishments. We are now working for Distinguished club status for the 2012-2013 year just closed, a write-up of award critera being presented in our October newsletter. Next month the newsletter will feature the criteria for the 2013-2014 year. Our membership should be proud of the work the performed meeting these requirements. It reflects on the success of our club, as well as every member.
2013 Awards Banquet Our annual Awards Banquet was held at the Paddock Room, Hickory Grove on February 21st. Members enjoyed a fine dinner and entertainment and the program honored members for their active participation during the 2011-2012 fiscal year. Awards presented were...
